About

My name is Sheri, and I’m passionate about personal finance, mental health, and an array of social issues. I Majored in Economics and minored Business, Sociology, and Political Science (Yes I know this is overkill), but I was, and still am, fascinated with so many subjects. I love learning, and most importantly, teaching others what I’ve learned.

I started this blog as an easy and digestible financial resource for millennials (especially minorities), who may not have access to exclusive financial planners. Financial literacy is a very important aspect of our growth and development as young adults, but there are a lot of paywalls, exclusivity, and unnecessarily confusing jargon surrounding personal finance. My goal is to make this a one-stop-shop for easy and readable financial education. My content consists of simplified and helpful tips and tricks to navigating youth and managing finances.

No one coaches us on personal finance through high school, college, and after. It’s a dicey battle of trial and error, with a large number of people interminably in the error stage. I’m here to help!

I am also passionate about mental health. Although I’m not a therapist, I plan on providing useful tips on coping with and managing anxiety, sadness, or stress that may accompany adulthood, especially surrounding finances.

Lastly, I am super passionate about music. I use it to unwind, cope, and explore my creative and musically inclined side. I will also be providing musical content, playlists, reviews, and expressing my thoughts on music.

Welcome to my blog, and I hope you enjoy my content.
